Having suffered a tragedy, Ben becomes a caregiver to earn money. His first client, Trevor, is a hilarious 18-year-old with muscular dystrophy. One paralyzed emotionally, one paralyzed physically, Ben and Trevor hit the road on a trip into the western states. The folks they collect along the way will help them test their skills for surviving outside their calculated existence. Paul Rudd is simply extremely likeable and such stories fit perfectly with the gentleness of his soul. I enjoyed this. A beautiful, human story and, in addition, with a road trip around America. What more could you want for a similar film with a beautiful positive message and a soul that will have something to say for decades to come.

When a movie resonates with you, it simply does. That's what happened to me with The Revised Fundamentals of Caregiving. Paul Rudd demonstrates that roles like these suit him perfectly, with no unnecessary nonsense, just pure acting. And alongside him, the lovely Selena, and of course, Craig Roberts, who is excellent in his role. I had fun with it.
