The Idolmaker

Sharkey " is superb in the title role" (Variety) as singer/songwriter Vinne Vacarri, the man with the moves, the songs, the voice and the know-how to become a star. What he doesn't have is a face that'll make teenage girls swoon. But Vinnie has a plan. If he can't become the next teen idol, then he'll find the right face to play the part. Setting his sights on two awkard teens (Land and Gallagher) -- each short on talent but long on looks -- Vinnie transforms them into overnight singing sensations.
