The Layover

William H. Macy must have been reminiscing about his own adolescence during filming, because there is probably no other explanation for his involvement at the helm here. This is a film that is only good to watch because it features a confrontation between two of Hollywood's biggest hotties of the moment, and if it wasn’t for the stupid script, it could have even been a decent comedy. That leaves only the male roles as relatively reasonable and logical characters. (24.09.2017)
