Past the white sand beaches and beneath the picture perfect turquoise water lies one of the fiercest natural habitats in the world. Teeming with life, the creatures fight for dominance in an eternal battle for survival around the 3,000 islands and islets that make up the Bahamas.
The islands themselves are natural marvels. Separated by swaths of blue sea, they were likely severed from one another after the last ice age. Because of this no two islands, or the creatures on them, are exactly the same. Each one has developed a unique ecosystem of species perfectly suited to their environment.
