Season 1 (2016) (S01)
Sure, the first season of Van Helsing offers what some viewers may want. It is action-packed, there is suspense because characters are easily killed off in gruesome ways, and there are blood-suckers. However, it has all been done before, and featuring vampires does not really help.

Season 2 (2017) (S02)
The second season of Van Helsing simply continues in the direction set by the first season. Van Helsing is unoriginal and simply The Walking Dead except with vampires and the fight for survival. Even the arrogance of some of the characters is truly annoying, much like in The Walking Dead, although that show at least has some likable characters.

Season 3 (2018) (S03)
The third season of the American television series Van Helsing is a bit of an improvement over the previous season. However, it is not a leap into the unknown, the creators of the show do not take any risks, still playing it safe and adding more and more characters that have the potential to liven up the plot a bit. However, I would like to fire the screenwriters for the historical episodes. Anyway, onward we go, and season four is upon us.

Season 4 (2019) (S04)
The fourth season of the American television series Van Helsing must have thrilled fans. There is some further development, there are interesting new characters, and more familiar faces appear. I am still not downright excited about this television series, even though I have to admit that I am quite curious to see if the producers will continue to push it in an interesting direction and keep it developing. At least it is good now.
