Episode 6 (2018) (S02E06)

angielski Given that the sixth episode concluded the operation that began in the previous episode, its introduction was already quite action-packed. The further plot did not disappoint me in any way, I must reiterate the high-quality atmosphere and well-crafted screenplay, I had no reason to lower the rating. ()

Episode 7 (2018) (S02E07)

angielski The second half of the series seems to be very strong so far, I rated the seventh episode with five stars again because it brought a solid amount of action and suspense, and the plot worked really well for me throughout. Additionally, I was very intrigued by the Israeli ways, if someone were to put me at gunpoint and force me into a car in broad daylight, I would be excited because I would know they are just taking me out for coffee. ()

Episode 8 (2018) (S02E08)

angielski This time I subtracted one star, even though I was actually satisfied in every aspect. There were two matters that bothered me, which formed one entity. The touching farewell with Doron's father before departure to the borders, as well as the subsequent idyll between Doron and Shirin, clearly indicated that something unpleasant would happen, and that disappointed me a little. It stood out, but otherwise it was a successful episode. ()

Episode 9 (2018) (S02E09)

angielski No wonder, in the ninth episode there were no idyllic situations, and the plot managed to surprise me several times. The atmosphere was gloomy and oppressive, the events that occurred during the ninth episode were, to put it mildly, unhappy, and that's what made me enjoy the outcome of the creators' efforts even more. ()

Episode 10 (2018) (S02E10)

angielski This time, the creators devoted themselves too much to the worn-out Doron, in my opinion. I have nothing against depression, when it is done well, a character can experience incredible mental agony and the actor has a chance to show what great talent they have hidden inside. But when someone just wraps themselves in a blanket on the couch... ()

Episode 11 (2018) (S02E11)

angielski Well, this was quality. The creators of most action movies and series should be required to watch the eleventh episode to learn how to achieve a fantastic atmosphere and how to properly work with tension. The action, in my opinion, was perfect. It slowed down a bit in the second half, but even without that, the plot was excellently developed. Awesome. ()

Episode 12 (2018) (S02E12)

angielski I hesitated a bit when rating the final episode of the second season. I was torn between giving it four or five stars, but in the end, I gave it a weaker five stars because I thoroughly enjoyed it the whole time and only the ending of the episode didn't sit well with me. After something like this, I would definitely expect a third season, but since there won't be one, the creators could have added some more spice. 5* ()

Season 3 (2019) (S03)

angielski I won’t pretend I haven’t noticed how the small imperfections from the previous seasons turned into massive flaws in the third one. At times I was completely baffled by the creator’s weird choices, but I decided to ignore them. For the third time in a row, I really enjoyed the fate of the Israeli commando, so I’m hoping for another season. ()

Episode 1 (2019) (S03E01)

angielski The third season of Fauda kicked off smoothly, with the creators effortlessly capturing everything that defines the essence of the series. From Doron's covert operations and tracking of terrorists to gripping interrogations and a dose of terrorism, it was all there. It was an excellent episode. ()

Episode 2 (2020) (S03E02)

angielski Once again, the creators seamlessly carried on from the previous episode, ensuring another enjoyable viewing experience. It's almost amusing to see how two nations can maintain a decades-long dispute primarily rooted in their beliefs (if we overlook the strategic implantation of Israel among the Arabs — a shrewd move by the victorious powers), given that they're not fundamentally so different. I also got this notion from watching Our Boys. ()

Episode 3 (2020) (S03E03)

angielski Once again, I had to give this episode five stars, as the creators delivered another captivating spectacle. While most of the episode focused on the action-packed Israeli commando operation, it didn't rely solely on that. It offered plenty of thought-provoking material and provided insight into how adversaries in this region perceive each other. A poignant exchange between the sniper and his commander summed it up perfectly. // "I killed a person, Eli." "Hate to say it, but you've killed many people." // You must watch the episode to truly grasp the context. ()

Episode 4 (2020) (S03E04)

angielski From the get-go, the creators have been riding the perfect wave, much like a seasoned surfer, and they're still riding it fantastically. But let's leave the sports analogies behind, because once again, the plot was filled with unsportsmanlike events. ()

Episode 5 (2020) (S03E05)

angielski In the last episode, we saw a lot of planning, and I'm thoroughly satisfied with how those plans were put into action. Ever since the beginning, I've been hooked on this series with its portrayal of Israeli-Palestinian friendship, and it looks like my enthusiasm isn't going to wane anytime soon. ()

Episode 6 (2020) (S03E06)

angielski The sixth episode left me utterly captivated by its hauntingly bleak atmosphere. It's the kind of episode that should come with a trigger warning for people suffering from depression. The sense of impending doom was palpable throughout, and I'm already bracing myself for how the story will continue to weigh heavily on me. ()

Episode 7 (2020) (S03E07)

angielski The seventh episode continued to deliver an outstanding atmosphere, with tension escalating significantly, keeping me utterly engrossed from start to finish. ()

Episode 8 (2020) (S03E08)

angielski In my review of the previous episode, I applauded the escalating tension, and this episode certainly didn't disappoint in that aspect. If anything, it raised the stakes even higher. The atmosphere was thick with the intensity of a top-notch thriller. As expected, the action was top-notch, and significant events unfolded. ()

Episode 9 (2020) (S03E09)

angielski The ninth episode managed to keep my attention throughout its runtime. It started off as an action-packed spectacle, but then took an unexpected turn, slowing down without losing any of its overall atmosphere or tension. Initially, I considered deducting some points due to the situation involving the dying comrade, but upon reflection, I realized that the shootout continued without any interruption, devoid of melodrama. It all made sense in the context of the narrative, prompting me to reconsider and award it a full five stars. ()

Episode 10 (2020) (S03E10)

angielski All the elements I've praised in previous episodes — the intense atmosphere and masterful suspense — remained present in the tenth episode. However, this time, the action escalated into a perfect frenzy. I had a blast, though I couldn't help but feel a slight disappointment that no one shouted, "Fauda!" Not that there was any reason for it, but it had become somewhat of a tradition in episodes like this one, and I found myself missing it :-). ()

Episode 11 (2020) (S03E11)

angielski The episode left me somewhat disappointed. Everyone (or nearly everyone) returned home to hummus, matzah, introspection, and memories of comrades lost. While I can only tolerate so much of this introspective journey, I'm still eager to see how it all wraps up in the finale. ()

Episode 12 (2020) (S03E12)

angielski While it didn't match the intensity of the tenth episode, I wasn't anticipating that level of action anyway. Yet, the creators opted for a more dynamic plot than last time, and it paid off. Amidst the somber events, they injected some humor, especially with the introduction of the new sniper to the team, culminating in a satisfyingly tense conclusion. A decent effort overall. ()
