The casting here was crucial, and you can especially notice it in the part involving the little boys. They are such repulsive characters at first glance that they make you feel sick. In this respect, it succeeds, but on the other hand, you might feel that this King adaptation is perhaps overly stretched, even though it's clear how it must end.
