Die Hände meiner Mutter

A small observation during a family-gathering on a boat will irreversibly change the life of 39-year-old family man Markus. When his young son comes back from a toilet-break with his grandmother, sporting a small cut on his finger, it triggers lost recollections from Markus' own youth and what his mother did to him as a child. By confronting her, an inconceivable truth comes successively to light. Markus' life, his relationship with his wife and with his family begin to fall apart.
