Calabria

Following the death of a Calabrian immigrant who had come to Switzerland to work, two employees at a funeral parlor, Jovan, a former gypsy singer from Belgrade, who believes in life after death, and José, Portuguese, who believes only in what he can see, travel across Italy from north to south to take the man's body back to his home village. Together, over the course of their journey, they encounter many surprises and the unexpected, which also offer them some opportunities to commemorate the deceased as well as to celebrate being alive.
