Season 1 (2018) (S01)
The first season of the TV show The Terror did not leave me with a great first impression, although it has to be admitted that the acting is up to par, and the show takes on some interesting themes, even though the way they are handled may not suit everyone. Still, I would give the second season a chance, if only because it will have a different narrative and setting. Perhaps the atmosphere will be a bit better this time, especially in some of the longer set pieces.

Infamy (2019) (S02)
The second season of The Terror has a huge Asian horror vibe, especially the Asian take on ghosts. Once again, this TV series tries hard to be a believable period drama, which it succeeds in doing, even though there is still an overly complicated crime drama storyline. Despite being such a strange stew, I enjoyed the second season of The Terror more than the first. However, it too could have been shortened considerably, and it would have been to the benefit of the cause.
