Viento distante

This movie comprises three medium-length films: En el parque hondo, Tarde de agosto and Encuentro.

En el parque hondo - Rebellious nine-year-old Arturo lives with his spinster aunt, who cares only for her cat. One day, the animal falls sick and Arturo is in charge of taking it to the vet to be put to sleep.

Tarde de agosto - A fourteen-year-old orphan loves two things: his older cousin Julia, and epic war novels, which provide him with an illusory heroic image of himself.

Encuentro - A middle-school teen and a young girl who loves to run around the streets meet unexpectedly and spend the day in various amusing corners of the city. (Morelia International Film Festival)
