Under an Arctic Sky

Forty minutes of waiting for a few nighttime surfing shots with the aurora borealis in the sky. For the rest of the time, the guys ride around in jeeps in a windstorm, gloomily stare into the monitor while feeling sick of the Icelandic weather and make a daytrip on a fishing boat looking for waves. Spectacular in American fashion but terribly poor in content, especially compared to the Norwegian North of the Sun, in which two students go on foot to a winter campsite in northern Norway, sleep in a “cave” and, besides some surfing fun, have the main goal of cleaning up the bay by hand.
