This documentary portrait acquaints viewers with the familiar and less familiar world of Slovak film director Martin Ťapák, exploring both his varied oeuvre and the human-interest story of his personal life, unseen by the public till now. Ťapák is shown as an artist, director, actor, dancer and choreographer, as well as a human being and a citizen, including both the positive and negative sides of his personality and actions. The filmmakers' goal was to view Ťapák from every angle, including a critical one, and thus paint a unified, full-blooded portrait of the man and artist. A substantial part of the documentary is made up of archival footage and various statements from people who knew him, worked with him, lived with him or whose recollections and observations otherwise complement the mosaic of facts and opinions about Martin Ťapák. This featurelength documentary portrait was created by his son, actor and director Marek Ťapák. (Art Film Fest)
