The legendary "Juanacatlán's Leap" cascade was once known as "The Mexican Niágara". Source of joy and foundation to the peoples at its rim. Everything changed when an Industrial broker had settled down the Santiagos' River bank, in Guadalajara. It has been 30 years since its waters turned spoiled, crushing anything that passed across its way, even the memories of fishermen and country folk that watched their world vanish. Today, deep in the toxic remains of the river bank, ancient wraiths emerge like echoes from an Eden, lost. In Resurection, a family struggles for their survival and their memories become a voice that resurects the cristal clear waters that lie within them. (Guanajuato International Film Festival)
