La playa

Summer. Moorland. Apathy. Boredom. Frustration. The young protagonist wanders around on a bicycle, not knowing where to go. She keeps pedalling. She just knows she wants to leave. She meets two twenty-somethings by chance, or almost, who don’t know where they’re going either, but they are going by car. They drink, smoke, and throw stones at the cans. Why don’t they flee? But with their bikinis, without rushing it, to the beach. (Gijón International Film Festival)
