From the second period we have selected two of the best documentaries produced or distributed by the Films Division. Pramod Pati's Explorer is a vivid collage of old and new images and icons of India, and S. Sukhdev's And Miles to Go is representative of the angry protest oriented documentarists of the sixties and early seventies. (International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam)
