Campusano's turn here was unpredictable. Who could have foreseen only ten years ago (during the time of Vil romance) that he would make a film in 360 degrees and set in New York? This perceptual experiment in a concrete territory brings together a set of characters who could be described as stereotypes of the American way of life: we have a slacker, an immigrant, a reactionary white man, a dysfunctional family. None of them becomes the protagonist; all of them get a couple of scenes in which a ubiquitous idiosyncrasy and social climate is sketched. (International Film Festival Rotterdam)
