Rumba Caliente

In the vaudeville theater where Ticha sells cigarettes and candy, Lily del Mar is the star of show and Resortes is the janitor. Don Ramon, the theater caretaker, encourages Resortes and Ticha to become dance partners. They go on to work in a small cabaret, but quit when the owner tries to seduce Ticha. Back in the vaudeville theater, Ticha replaces Lily as the star and becomes a huge success. She goes to Cuba on tour and Resortes is fired. Don Ramon helps Resortes and Ticha get back together, and they confess their love for each other. (Morelia International Film Festival)
