El ídolo

Tomás has lost it all: his work, his home and his girlfriend. In order to forget he decides to drink at a bar. There he meets Michel Dax, his greatest music Idol who invites him to stay with him. At his place Michel confesses that inspiration has eluded him for years, and that he fears that he will never write music again. As a joke Tomás suggests that they should release his music as if it were Dax’s. What started as a joke turns into a big success when they hit the top of the charts. Now Tomás and Michel will have to decide if they let the world continue thinking that Michel is a genius and Tomás is a failure, or if they reveal the truth. (Guadalajara International Film Festival)
