Die Thuranos - Leben auf dem Drahtseil

This is the portrait of an extraordinary family. For decades the Thur’s have lived for the stage.Their story begins in the 1920s, and takes us from Germany to South Africa, through the Middle East, to Las Vegas and back to Germany and Denmark. At the centre of this family saga is the world’s oldest working artiste Konrad Thur. At the age of 95 he still performs Crazy Wire Act, a kind of tightrope comedy, together with his son John. Today, the whole family still lives and travels together, and forms an exceptionally close unit. Thanks to their way of life the Thur’s have truly become citizens of the world. Under the stage name The Thuranos they have been and remain top artists in demand all over the world. (DOK.fest München)
