In 1923, Juan Nepomuceno Pérez Rulfo “Cheno”, a landowner from Jalisco and the grandfather of the filmmaker, is killed. This is starting point of the film in which an old group of men remember the violence of the post-revolutionary days of the 1920`s surrounded by a world of evocation and death.
