Yo niña

Armonia is the daughter of a young couple that decides to leave everything behind and go to live in the south in a cabin without electricity or running water. It is a natural way of life that the child enjoys as much as she endures, and at times she wants to escape from it, sending Martian signals so that they will come and take her away from a family life that she slowly discovers (and that the family itself discovers as well) is more and more complex and opaque, a volatile and unstable universe, among letters that aren’t read, crying in secret, being uprooted and contradictions. Less so a family drama than a children’s film in the best sense: looking at what we do in the world, as if for the first time. (Mar del Plata International Film Festival)
