BOREALIS follows Jonah, an unemployed gambler, as he takes his estranged pot-smoking teen-aged daughter Aurora on a dangerous road trip from Winnipeg to Churchill, Manitoba to show her the magnificent Northern Lights - before her vision disorder renders her completely blind.
