Dla Anat (Naama Preis) muzyka jest wszystkim. Niestety, dziewczyna nigdy nie była w stanie sprostać wygórowanym oczekiwaniom jej ojca. Z tego powodu kobieta pokłada wielkie nadzieje w swoim nienarodzonym dziecku. Kiedy rodzi się ono głuche, stosuje wręcz ekstremalne środki, aby upewnić się, że jej syn zostanie kompozytorem, którego zawsze pragnął jej ojciec. Kiedy chłopak dorasta i staje twarzą w twarz ze swoim dziadkiem, Anat musi wreszcie wstawić się za swoim synem. (HBO)

The plot itself is not bad, but the whole story seems a bit far-fetched in several ways. For example, the exchange of babies in the maternity ward could not have happened as easily without anyone noticing. Another surprising thing is the musical talent of the boy with foreign genes, which is usually passed down in the family from generation to generation. Moreover, the protagonist Anat often behaves quite strangely in her role as a mother. On the musical side, however, there's nothing to fault about the film, and I don't really have any objections to the many questions it raises toward the end. (65%)
