The Night Before Christmas (1941) (S01E03)
Even such age-old "enemies" as Tom and Jerry know that Christmas is first and foremost a holiday of peace and tranquility. I was most amused by the "kiss under the mistletoe".

Tom and Jerry are "playing" again, and this time they chose a really rough caliber, so it turned out to be quite a battle from which only one winner can emerge. The bra parachute was the best!

Quiet Please! (1945) (S01E22)
Jerry can be a real scumbag sometimes, and poor Tom could tell you all about it. Again, a pretty drastic chase where, among other things, you can see Jerry barking.

Tom this time as a master pianist and Jerry again as a master provocateur, or a real symphony "for life and death", which stands out especially in terms of animation and music.

What's small is usually cute, which is doubly true of Jerry's new reinforcement against Tom in the form of an orphan mouse who is the food equivalent of a bottomless garbage can.

Tom, Jerry and his little mouse friend are now rivals in olden times in France and their battlefield is a table with a lavish feast. The ending was pretty rough, though, considering it's supposed to be for kids.
