Repossession

Jim is a fifty-five-year-old man who has just lost his job in economy-driven Singapore. Rather than tell his family, he keeps up a ruse by roaming around the city during office hours. From this lie springs a malevolent force that attaches itself to his prideful ego and drives him deeper into erratic behavior and poor choices. Jim thinks that what his family doesn't know, keeps them away from harm's way. But that changes soon. Repossession is a taut horror film about pride and its aftermath that will have you looking over your shoulder next time your ego rears its ugly head. (Cinequest Festival)
