Opisy(1)

Dziewczyny pracujące w jednym z najmodniejszych klubów go-go w Nowym Jorku tracą wszystkie oszczędności w wyniku krachu finansowego 2008 roku. Cały świat za kryzys wini nadzianych finansistów z Wall Street, którzy są częstymi gośćmi klubu. Szastają kasą, podczas gdy ofiary ich machinacji nie mają z czego żyć. Dziewczyny postanawiają wymierzyć im sprawiedliwość i odzyskać stracone pieniądze. Pod wodzą pięknej i znającej życie Ramony organizują błyskotliwy przekręt. Wykorzystując swoje wdzięki i znajomość męskiej psychiki, sprawiają, że rekiny finansjery łykają przynętę jak płotki. Kasa płynie szerokim strumieniem, a dziewczyny rzucają się w wir szalonego i rozrzutnego życia. Wkrótce zachłyśnięte sukcesem i słodkim smakiem zemsty zaczynają tracić czujność… (Monolith)

angielski American girls and their values. At the beginning, when they are still pole dancing, it is at least pleasant to watch. Afterwards, it’s just painful to listen to. ()

angielski Yeah, it’s fun. J.Lo is an incredible babe at 50, and her opening pole dance is hallucinogenic in its beauty. The film takes a fresh look behind the scenes of strip-clubs and besides the pretty half naked women, I also enjoyed watching them rip off Wall Street guys, especially with drugs :D. Nicely seductive thieving fun. 7/10. ()

angielski A film that pulsates thanks to the charisma and sex appeal of Jennifer Lopez, who completely dominates not only in the dance scenes, but also with her riveting drive and pull in virtually any situation. You can feel her immeasurable vitality, zest for life and joy in what she does, the triple threat of music, film and dance. It is easy to argue about the juiciness of the script and some unnecessary passages (the Asian grandmother, Cardi B), but at the same time, apart from the main star, Hustlers describes the operation of a strip club in a very unobtrusive without any of the basic clichés, and at times flies past the main characters with an almost documentary-like camera. It doesn't have much of a narrative value, except for the working slogan "you mustn't steal", but it's hard not to root for these quite likeable cats and a trip to the bar with them is actually quite nice. And with the credit car safe at home by the TV, it’s very watchable. ()

angielski A beautifully laid down feminist argument played out competently without sharper conflicts or significant character development. It’s nice to watch and Lorene Scafaria deserves A+ for the montage of each sequence, but as a defence of repressive actions in a time of depression it’s too ingenuous and detached, just like the indictment of the system is simplifying. Scorsese is several streets ahead, though here the music of the period and the motifs of the narrators are used similarly well, and on top of that we have Jennifer Lopez prancing in front of the camera; she could be my mum, but I would like her more as my girlfriend. 65% ()

angielski I wonder which says more about the current American values - the fact that this movie made more than 100 million dollars in theaters, or that the biggest supporting "star" in the film was Cardi B, whom Time magazine ranked among the world's 100 most influential people? The fact that there is some eye-candy to look at doesn't mean it can mask the utter stupidity of everything else. I wanted to give this a reasonable rating for the sake of Lili Reinhart and Jennifer Lopez, but some of the pseudo life lessons and idiotic dialogues almost make me want to give it a “Boo!” rating. ()
