When wellness guru Dr. Lauren Birch (Kate Gilligan), suddenly falls violently ill and dies during the opening of her new family wellness center, her sister Amanda (Jeanette Sousa) refuses to believe it’s due to a heart condition. Suspecting Lauren’s unfaithful husband Ian (Philip Boyd) is somehow responsible, Amanda is shocked when the detective on the case discovers proof to suggest that Lauren was poisoned with a rare drug, from her relapsing addict son, Charlie (Keenan Tracey). As Amanda tries to make sense of what’s going on, she is partners up with Maya (Breanne Hill), Lauren’s former protégé and Charlie’s girlfriend, who is now running the center.
