After a failed love affair, Yanny flies from Hong Kong to San José to visit her childhood friend Ling and clear her mind. With a house idyllically located on the outskirts of the city, a successful career and offspring on the way, Ling seems to lead an exemplary, carefree life with her husband Tang. When she begins to observe increasing tensions between the two during her stay, the unsuspecting Yanny has no idea that she will soon uncover a dark secret that will lead all three of them down a fatal path.
