The Violence of Summer (S01E14)

Diana Manso is defense attorney for Ryan Cutrona, one of the three defendants indicted for the gang-rape of local news reporter Monica DeVries. She pleads with District Attorney Paul Robinette for a severance from the other two defendants because they are hostile to her client. A tense courtroom scene unfolds as Ryan is heckled and verbally intimidated by the other two defendants, Howard Metzler and Steven Hanauer. Convinced that Ryan is withholding information pertinent to the case, Robinette, with Asst. D.A.
