VooDoo

The horror film VooDoo is an interesting example of a director's debut, where he attempted to bring something more, something different, perhaps even something new to the horror genre. He partially succeeded, but it just seems to me that Tom Costabile wanted to make a truly horrifying horror film, but he put in so much that it became overloaded. After watching VooDoo you realize that the voodoo in the title may not have been all that crucial. (11.05.2017)
