A young woman takes a road trip for four days with her boyfriend and his family. She spends the trip with her mother in law, Mela. The conversation is slow and patchy at times since Mela isn’t naturally talkative and neither is Spanish fluent. But there’s more than just a language barrier: Mela has Alzheimer.
