At the end of the school year comes the heat, and with it regular power cuts in the suburbs of Rio de Janeiro: Karol, Junior, Ronaldo and Caio have a harsh summer ahead of them. Each has a physical or spiritual need to be satisfied, and as they make the transition into adulthood they will be faced with many different barriers to overcome: frustration and anger are inevitable, and their only way out is to help each other.
