Often considered their best, this second Marx Brothers movie revolves around a stolen painting and the sprawling estate of a wealthy dowager who soon finds Chico, Zeppo, Harpo, and, especially, Groucho turning her life upsidedown. Groucho croons his famous "Hooray for Captain Spaulding" and delivers many of his most famous quips in this film based on a play by George S. Kaufman. (oficjalny tekst dystrybutora)

Groucho Marx reminds me of Vlasta Burian in some scenes, primarily with his quick wit, but I definitely prefer Burian. However, the Marx brothers cannot be denied that they are simply funny and overall artistically talented, as evidenced by their musical numbers. It was amusing to me that it was not until this movie that I realized Groucho's mustache - and actually his eyebrows - are drawn on. ()
