Film ma strukturę nowelową i składa się z czterech opowieści. Bohaterem pierwszej jest 40-letni Heshmat. Stateczny mężczyzna, który większość czasu stara się spędzać w gronie najbliższych. W drugiej obserwujemy Pouyę, dla którego obowiązkowa służba wojskowa jest jedyną szansą na otrzymanie paszportu i opuszczenie wraz z dziewczyną Iranu. Żołnierzem jest też bohater trzeciej historii. Javad dostał właśnie trzydniową przepustkę, by spędzić ten czas z narzeczoną i jej rodziną, świętując urodziny ukochanej kobiety. W ostatniej z kolei przekonujemy się, jak przybycie Daryi, młodej kuzynki z Niemiec, gwałtownie może zmienić niespieszne życie Bahrama i Zaman– spokojnej pary w średnim wieku. (Aurora)

All four stories have something going for them, and they are just about the right length and have unexpected climaxes. I was most impressed by the first story, whose calm pace is shattered by the uncompromising conclusion. The third story also appealed to me a lot, but it seems to me the least likely, because coincidence plays a big role in it. The fourth episode is a continuation of the life story of the hero of the second story, but the style of the narration is rather reminiscent of the first story. In any case, director Mohammad Rasoulof deserves great admiration and respect for not stopping making movies even when he is persecuted by the Iranian regime for his work. (80%)
