Highlander

For six glorious years, Highlander was one of the top shows of the 1990s. Today, even after waking up from nostalgia, to its credit, it still works very well. In the early years after 2000, it seemed that it would continue to be unwatchable, but 10 years later, it appeared to have proven its patina sufficiently. It’s a quality multi-genre series that easily outshines all the films, including the first one. It features a plethora of interesting stories, main and secondary characters, ideas of all kinds... this is exactly how I imagine a job well done. I watch the reruns regularly. (16.02.2009)
