Go-carting is Swiss boy Gianluca's favourite activity. Although he likes to play soccer and video games with friends, nothing is in the same league as this fast and adventurous sport. In KART 26, Gianluca and his parents can be found on the race track weekend after weekend, where he wins many a race. There is even a car manufacturer that is interested in hiring him. At school, he boldly explains that his go-cart can reach speeds of up to 100 kilometres an hour and that girls can be quite good racers too. But, as is only befitting a spirited “man,” he has to swallow hard when an opponent drives him off the road. (International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam)
