Mission to Mir

The Mir space station was a breakthrough in many areas of space exploration. It was the home to astronauts for a longer period of time than any other capsule at the time. The project also created an opportunity for the United States and the Soviet Union to work together in their studies. Communism fell in the Soviet Union while some of the astronauts on Mir. This document of the historic voyage includes footage from inside of the space station as well as images captured from outside the ship at depths in space the human race had never been before.
