Biografia
Simón Mesa Soto studied audiovisual communication at the University of Antioquia and earned an MA in film from the London Film School. Leidi, his thesis project, won the short film Palme d’Or at Cannes (2014), and Madre was part of the Official Selection at Cannes in 2016. Amparo is his debut feature.
