Multi-awarded screenwriter, producer, director and cinematographer, he studied a master's degree in Art History at the University of Heidelberg, Germany. Through the use of powerful imagery, de León tackles conflicting or crucial issues for the reality of his country. His films have been presented at international festivals such as Cannes or Venice.
