Biografia

Édouard Lock (b. 1954, Casablanca) began working in dance at the age of nineteen. From 1975 to 1979, he created choreography for various Montreal dance companies. In 1980, he formed his own company, Lock-Danseurs, which went on to become the acclaimed La La La Human Steps. Recognized as one of the top choreographers in the world, Lock has received numerous honours for his exceptional works. His film directing debut, Amélia, was awarded Czech Crystal at the International Television Festival Goledn Prague and Grand Prize 2003 of the Montréal Arts Council.
