Biografia (1)
Fukuoka, 1959. A successful advertising director, he debuted in 1997 with Happy-Go-Lucky. After Beautiful Sunday (1998), his Kamikaze Girls (2004) was a tremendous hit and later works like Memories of Matsuko (2006) and Paco and the Magical Book (2008) have made him one of Japan´s most interesting filmmakers.
