Naomi Lachter

Naomi has designed the costumes for festival favorites Voodoo Macbeth, Forgetting The Girl and Stones In The Sun. Her other films include Dotty & Soul, The Featherweight and Things Like This. Naomi has her MFA in Costume Design from Brandeis University and majored in Theater and Art with minors in Fashion and Art History at CUNY Queens College. Winner of the Ruth Morley Prize for Excellence in Costume Design, she has also designed many off-Broadway shows. Naomi is based in her hometown, New York City, but travels for location work anywhere. Appendage is Naomi's second film to premiere at SXSW, previously she designed Claire In Motion, staring Betsy Brandt (2016).
