Carlo Sironi (born in Rome in 1983) begins working as an assistant cameraman and director in both cinema and television. His first short film, Sofia (2008), is in competition at the 28th Torino Film Festival and the 39th Giffoni Film Festival. Cargo (2012), his latest short, is in competition at the 69th Venice Film Festival and is nominated for a David di Donatello. He is currently developing his first full-length feature, Sole, with Kino Produzioni (Berlinale Script Station, EAVE 2013).
