Biografia
Catalina Reyes Alberich studied Communications and Advertising in Tijuana, where she currently lives. In her first year of college, she produced and directed a cultural television program that aired at a local television network. Her interests in painting and photography have had an important role in her development. Her short films have been showcased at the Mujeres al borde de un ataque de cine series, which takes place near the Mexico-Us border. In 2005, she produced and co-directed the short film Hueso (Best Horror Short Film at the Imperial Beach Film Festival; Official Selection, Chicago Horror Film Festival). Algesia won a grant from the state of Baja California, and premiered at the Museum of Art and Photography in San Diego, California.
