Nicolas Winding Refn

Born in Copenhagen in 1970 and raised in New York. His first feature length film was Pusher (1996), which would lead to a trilogy completed by Pusher II (2004) and Pusher III (2005). Movies like Bleeder (1999), Fear X (2003), Bronson (2008) and Valhalla Rising (2009) made him a cult filmmaker with a refined and, at the same time, abstract approach to the most extreme genre cinema.
