Gerardo Naranjo

Began his career as a film critic. Directed his first short film, Perro Negro, in 1997 before enrolling in a Masters in Film Directing at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles, where he graduated with a thesis titled The Last Attack of the Beast, receiving numerous awards. In 2005, he co-wrote and starred in Azazel Jacobs’ film The Good Times Kid, and in 2006 premiered his first feature film, Drama/Mex, at the Cannes’s Critics’ Week.
