Agustina Chiarino

Biografia

She is a Uruguayan film producer with more than fifteen Latin American feature films premiered at the most important film festivals in the world, which have won more than 100 international awards and have been released in more than 30 territories. She studied Political Science, has a degree in Communication and a Master in Creative Documentary. She produced the feature films La Discípula Del Velocímetro, Gigante, Tanta Agua, 3, Hiroshima, El 5 De Talleres, Las Olas, Locura Al Aire, Alelí, Bosco y Alter. She co-produced Historia Del Miedo, Mi Amiga Del Parque, Las Herederas, Benzinho and Monos. Together with EAVE, she co-organizes the Puentes workshop for producers from Latin America and Europe. She participates as a tutor and advisor in training activities at Biennale College, Br Lab, Biobio Lab, Red Sea Lodge (Saudi Arabia), EAVE, Sarajevo Cinelink, Proyecta Ventana Sur. She has evaluated projects for Torino Scriptlab, INCAA Incubator, Doha Film Institute of Qatar, Locarno Open Doors and the Sundance Institute among others. Since 2019 she is part of the pre-selection committee of the San Sebastián Co-production Forum.
