Ladislav Vlk

Ladislav Vlk (1943), an artist, animator and director, studied stone sculpture and restoration. First he worked at Zlín Film Studios under director Karel Zeman, later he specialized as an animator working on a number of animated films of Zlín directors. He's also directed some films on his own, e.g. animated TV bedtime stories and series, such as Shower (Sprcha, 1980), The Eagle Feather (Indiánske rozprávky, 1982), The Bell of Happiness (Zvoneček štěstí, 1988) and Linda, The Garden Cat (Linda, kočka zahradní, 1990).
