Pilar Moreno

Pilar Moreno is a visual artist and a psychiatrist. She graduated from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. She subsequently distanced herself from conventional clinical practice, specializing in art therapy, and completed training in narrative practices. Her artistic work proposes narratives on different social and political subjects, apparently poetic and at the same time, critical and ironic. Particularly interested in inclusion and feminism, she integrates into her artistic practice projects that link her work with diverse community groups. For your peace of mind, Make Your Own Museum is her first feature film as a director. She lives and works in Panama and regularly collaborates with other artists, musicians and filmmakers.
